Frank Garcia was born August 11, 1955 in Huntington Park, CA.
He provided for his family as an Electrical Engineering Technician at Caltrans for 25 years, before retiring in 2016.
Frank met the love of his life, Linda, at The Broadway where they both worked. They married on August 29, 1987 at St. Matthias Church and were together for 34 years. They built a beautiful life and family over three decades and put their children through university. They spent countless hours gardening, renovating, as well as relaxing in their dream home Frank bought for his family.
Frank was a selfless man who often put others’ needs before his own. In 2001, he made a life-saving donation of his bone marrow to a young leukemia patient.
When he wasn’t spending time with his beloved wife Linda, he was working on his many projects. Frank spent most of his leisure time working with his hands. He loved home improvement as well as vehicle modification.
Frank passed away on March 20, 2022 at the age of 66 after suffering a heart attack. He was surrounded by loved ones during his final days.
Frank is survived by his wife Linda, his four children: Amber, John, Chris, and Frank Jr., and his four grandchildren: Izayah, Laylah, Alona, and a newborn to come. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
